Almost no rain

Last night a cold front blew through. There had been a forecast of occasional thunderstorms. Indeed, we could see the lightning and hear the thunder from here. But we scarcely got any rain. I cleaned the windshield of the car before turning in for bed so that I could tell whether it rained overnight. It did. There were a few rain drop spots on the windshield, indicating that there was a sprinkle. One station in Round Rock registered 1.61 inches of rain. The storms skirted Austin and went through Round Rock. Not the most likely chance for rain in November is Thursday. Current forecast is for a 20% chance with possible accumulation of 0.01 inch. There is no other significant rain forecast for the month.
